About Us

Since its founding, New Castle Elks Lodge 69 has been a fixture on Cascade Street where Lawrence County residents come together for something bigger than themselves. The lodge holds a 4.4-star rating from members and guests who know firsthand what it means to belong to an organization that cuts scholarship checks for local high school graduates heading to college and shows up for community causes year after year.

Step inside and you'll find a genuine private club atmosphere: pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, card machines, and card tables where regulars settle in for an evening that doesn't feel like anything you'd find at a chain bar. When the lodge fires up its appreciation picnic and brings out a live band like 56 East, you're reminded why people have kept their memberships for decades.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of America's oldest fraternal organizations, and Lodge 69 carries that tradition with a local flavor specific to western Pennsylvania. This is a place built on handshakes, volunteer hours, and the belief that neighbors should look out for neighbors.

What We Offer

Lodge 69 offers members a full private clubhouse experience that goes well beyond a meeting room. The bar and lounge give members a comfortable place to unwind, while the game room's pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, and card tables keep the evenings lively any night of the week.

On the charitable side, the lodge runs scholarship programs for graduating high school seniors in the New Castle area, contributes to local community events, and organizes member appreciation events complete with live entertainment and food prepared by lodge volunteers. These aren't token gestures; they're funded drives that put real dollars back into Lawrence County families.

Membership also connects you to the national Elks network through elks.org, opening access to Elks National Foundation grants, youth programs, and veteran outreach initiatives that extend far beyond what any single lodge could accomplish alone.

"Great private club. Helps with many local charities and events. Sponsors kids coming up out of high school for college. Inside, they have cards, pool, darts, shuffle board table, card machines, card tables, and private rooms for rent for gatherings like family reunions, birthday parties, or prom graduations. They have steam tables and a full kitchen. 2 fully functional bars. And many great people to assist you in any help you many require."

"They have a really nice space to rent out for parties, like graduation parties, wedding/ baby showers, birthday parties, ect. It's a nice big room that offers seating for quite a bit of people and they have a nice dance floor with a space for a DJ to set up and play music. Farone Bros. caters there and their food is really good, plus there is a small bar next to the dance floor so you can have your choice of soda or an alcoholic beverage if that's something you're interested in."

"Do not hesitate to rent the hall here! I used the Elks Lodge to host my parent's 50th wedding anniversary back in November. It was great!! Everyone with whom I spoke was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I planned the party from out of state and they were very nice and easy to deal with. The place was perfect! They had a hot buffet serving station that my caterers (Faraone Brothers) used. It was exactly what was needed. The bathrooms were wonderful! They were set up nicely and they thought of everything. They had tons of tables and chairs. I rented both the big and small room and there was a lot of extra space. We had over 80 people there and it felt like more than enough room The entire experience was very positive. I would use them again in an instant and highly recommend them. Look no further if you need a space to rent in New Castle! A very big thank you to Mike, Bill, Patty and to everyone else that I spoke with and dealt with! You all helped to make my parent's party a huge success!! You're all the best!"
